First Glimpse Ultrasound NI is a private Ultrasound company specialising in pregnancy and gynaecology ultrasound scans as well as related blood tests. We are proud to offer a variety of ultrasound and health services to support your fertility and pregnancy journey.
Nestled in the beautiful Fermanagh countryside, the boutique-style studio in Enniskillen offers a calm and relaxing professional environment. It is run by Suzi Ritchie, a qualified and experienced Health professional. It is the only nurse-led ultrasound clinic in Fermanagh committed to delivering safe, compassionate care to the women who visit First Glimpse Ultrasound NI.
First Glimpse Ultrasound NI offers specialised patient care, with a focus on early pregnancy and gynaecology. Suzi, a highly experienced practitioner, prioritises individualised attention and understands the anxieties and stresses that come with being a parent-to-be during the first and second trimesters.
Our aim is to enable parents to have access to ultrasound services throughout their pregnancy at a convenient time for them without needing a referral. Whether you are in the early stages of your pregnancy or coming towards the end of your pregnancy we have carefully designed our scans to fit around your all important routine NHS scans.
The range of scans available include, Early Reassurance Scan, Dating Reassurance Scan, Gender Scan, 3D / 4D Bonding Scans, and NIPT with an Early Pregnancy Scan. Our sessions are designed to give you the time and space to fully enjoy the experience, create lasting memories, ask questions, share your concerns and feel assured about your pregnancy journey.
At First Glimpse Ultrasound Ni we are proud to offer our women's health scans which are available for self-referral and are particularly useful for women considering pregnancy, IVF, or for simple reassurance of general gynaecological health. We provide a range of ultrasound scans including, Pelvic Scan, Follicle Tracking Scan, Fertility Scans and Endometrial Lining Scans.
We are Healthcare professional led and managed and if you need to speak to one of our staff they are available on the phone should you need to discuss your requirements.
Our Services
Pregnancy Ultrasound Scans - We offer Pregnancy Scans at our clinic, so that expecting parents can get a first glimpse of their little bundle of joy before they arrive. We recognise the importance of this special moment and ensure that our experienced staff, provide you with the highest quality images of your baby using state-of-the-art equipment, which is tested regularly and maintained by engineers from MDI Medical. Our ultrasound scans include Early Reassurance Scan from 7 weeks, Dating Reassurance Scan, Gender Scan from 16 weeks, 3D / 4D Bonding Scans, and NIPT (previoulsy known as the Harmony Test) with an Early Pregnancy Scan. Our non-diagnostic, non-medical service, provides souvenir scans for keep-sake purposes only and for any medical or diagnostic needs, you should consult your medical health professional. Under no circumstances should the scan be seen as a substitute for a scan offered to you by your hospital or GP during the antenatal process.
Women's Health Scans - We offer a range of Women's Health Scans with accompanying blood tests and are more than happy to forward reports and results to relevant GPs, Health Care Providers or Fertility Clinics which is particularly useful if receiving fertility treatment abroad (Clients must be aged 18 or over). These scans include Pelvic Scan, Fertility Scan, Follicle Tracking Scans, and Endometrial Lining Scans. Our team do not have your medical records or history and are not in a position to medically advise you on any diagnostic results. You should always seek the advice of your Consultant, GP, or Fertility Clinic with any questions you may have regarding the scan.
Blood Testing Service - We offer a range of blood tests designed for women who are undergoing IVF treatment abroad, Non Invasive Prenantal Testing - NIPT Standard and/or Advanced Test (genetic screening service), Sneakpeek Early Gender DNA determination from 6 weeks and well woman blood tests.
Phlebotomy Service for Blood Tests. As directed by your usual Healthcare provider or Fertility Clinic.
We have partnered with leading laboratories to provide a wide range of tests. First Glimpse Ultrasound NI will not review or interpret your private blood test results - we recommend you discuss your results with your preferred Healthcare provider.
