NIPT - STANDARD

Ultrasound Scan & Blood Test

Available from 10 weeks of pregnancy – Standard
Our NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing) Standard blood test collects and analyses cell-free fetal DNA from the maternal blood, enabling a more accurate screening for Down’s syndrome (Trisomy 21), Edwards’ Syndrome (Trisomy 18) and Patau’s Syndrome (Trisomy 13). The package also includes an Ultrasound Scan first, checking viability (baby’s heartbeat), gestation and early anatomy development of your baby. We also offer the option of testing the maternal blood for baby’s gender, free of charge.

This scan includes:
• 30-minute appointment
• Maternal Blood sample
• 2D Ultrasound Scan for viability (baby’s heartbeat) and gestation measurements
• 3 complimentary 2D printed images
• Complimentary Gender Testing – optional
• printed Ultrasound report
• results from your blood tests 5 - 7 working days after the lab receives the sample

The package also includes an Ultrasound Scan first, checking viability (baby’s heartbeat), gestation and early anatomy development of your baby. We also offer the option of testing the maternal blood for baby’s gender, free of charge.

This scan includes:
• 30-minute appointment
• Maternal Blood sample

Suzi, a trained professional will take your blood sample(s) for private blood tests. This sample will be tested by our authorised partners. Results from your blood tests can be expected between 5 – 7 working days after the lab receives the sample.

First Glimpse Ultrasound NI will not review or interpret your private blood test results - we recommend you discuss your results with your GP, Fertility Clinic, or preferred Healthcare Provider.

By booking a private blood test appointment with us you are agreeing to your personal information being shared with these partners solely for this test. Your express permission for this will also be asked during your appointment.
